Media Buyer

Position Summary

Responsible for negotiating, scheduling, and buying appropriate media. Must identify target audience and ensure media reaches target audience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Possess an advanced product knowledge of broadcast and cable television, terrestrial and streaming radio, outdoor, direct mail, search engine marketing, retargeting and display advertising
  • Meets with media representatives and accesses media database to research available options for media placement
  • Negotiates best price for media space or time, as specified in approved media plan, to optimize budget
  • Buys negotiated media space, commercial time, or site placement
  • Monitors media agreements and contracts with outside media vendors
  • Supervises media schedules and adjusts broadcasting and online schedules due to program or site cancellations
  • Monitors media for placement and time discrepancies and negotiates credit or billing adjustments when necessary
  • Tracks expenditures to ensure compliance with budget
  • Researches and maintains record of trends, innovations, and changes that affect media buying
  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training.

Digital Media Manager

Position Summary

Right Idea Media & Creative has an opportunity for aDigital Media Manager. 

The Digital Media Manager serves as a direct support to the Director of Digital Strategy, the Agency’s definitive expert on digital advertising techniques and processes. The Media Manager assists directly with daily monitoring and optimization tasks, new account set up, and reporting across all digital marketing channels under the direct supervision of the Director of Digital Strategy. Other duties as assigned.

The Digital Media Manager would assist Right Idea Media & Creative with client work pertaining to Google Adwords, Bing, Display Advertising, Facebook, YouTube, Programmatic Video Pre-roll, Targeted Email Campaigns, Mobile Geofencing, and more.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The candidate must be flexible and able to multitask across a variety of job duties, including:

  • Follow set optimization procedures and checklists
  • Assist in the creation of new client advertising campaigns
  • Assist in the creation of budget estimates and client proposals
  • Assist in the deployment of new creative on a monthly or weekly basis

Freelance Video Editor & Producer

 Position Summary

Requires strong organizational skills and keen eye for detail as well as creativity and flexibility. Comfortable communicating with clients, able to make quick decisions, must be tech savvy and have excellent computer skills. High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative and all affiliated editing software. High level of proficiency in videography.  Above average communication skills in both written and verbal form is very important for the Video Editor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for the on-time delivery of all creative projects assigned, including (but not limited to) TV spots, long-form video, radio spots, streaming audio spots, client and in-house web-site elements; video, audio, text, graphic, and photo; working under tight deadlines.
